Our own portable server plus the free utilities our support engineers run on every terminal — remote access, malware cleanup, reinstall prep and drivers. Official sources only; the same stack a paid support desk reaches for.

TolsTek
Windows PC only · Portable · Ships with Sovereign deployments

TolsTek Sovereign Host

The portable localhost our own engineers develop on — the sovereign alternative to XAMPP, WAMP or USBWebserver, running the whole Ultra Z dev stack off a single folder.

Reach any terminal

Remote Access Tools

Support-grade remote desktop clients for POS terminals, back-office machines and head-office servers — the same tools our engineers use to onboard your stores.

All three work behind store NAT and firewalls · RustDesk's self-hosted relay keeps even support traffic on your own infrastructure.
The paid-call stack, free

Virus & PUP Cleanup

The same free stack a paid support desk runs during a cleanup call — kill the malicious processes first, then sweep, then second-scan. Every tool free, official sources only.

Our cleanup order: RKill → AdwCleaner → Malwarebytes → ESET second-scan → Autoruns review. Scan in safe mode when the machine fights back.
Quarterly housekeeping

System Hygiene

Quarterly housekeeping on every POS terminal — keeps tills fast, clean and audit-ready.

CCleaner: decline the bundled offer during install · recommended quarterly hygiene schedule.
Before you wipe

OS Reinstall Prep

The pre-wipe checklist for a clean reinstall — health-check the disk first, inventory the hardware, then build the install media.

Our order: CrystalDiskInfo health check → Speccy hardware list → Media Creation Tool → Rufus or Ventoy USB. Hiren's PE for machines that won't boot at all.
Vendor portals only

Drivers

Always from the hardware vendor's official portal — auto-detect tools where the vendor ships one.

POS peripherals — Epson printers, TSC label printers, scanners — from the vendor's official driver page only. We never mirror installers.

Rather have us run it? Our engineers do this on every terminal we onboard — cleanup, drivers, reinstalls and hardening included.

Safe sources, no licences, no gates.

Every entry links to the official vendor source — the same stack our own support engineers reach for on service calls. No repacked installers, no bundled adware; verify the publisher before running, exactly as we do.

They do. Paid virus-removal and tune-up services from vendors like McAfee, Norton, Dell, HP, Lenovo and ASUS run this same class of cleanup utilities inside their paid support sessions — you pay for the technician's time, not for secret software. We publish the official sources and the knowhow free; run them yourself, or hand the terminal to our engineers on a support ticket.

No — the utilities, the CTO hardware specification and the datasheets are free and unauthenticated. Share them with your IT vendor or procurement team as needed.

SPEC-WF-TOLSTEK-2026-V1 — the 4-tier hardware matrix, OEM CTO checklist and VLAN/UPS guidance our architects use when scoping a sovereign or air-gapped deployment. It is the document to hand your hardware vendor. About TolsTek Host →

Each app's four-page datasheet — capability set, competitor edges, deployment options and rollout path — ships from its catalogue page; the full set is free to share internally or with clients.

Reinstall-prep and driver packs for imaging days, hygiene utilities for terminals that slowed down — or hand the terminal to our engineers on a support ticket.
