TolsTek Host

The server under your shop is spec'd like a bank's.

Enterprise U.2/U.3 NVMe with power-loss protection. ECC memory. Hardware RAID. Redundant power. Four tiers, sized by concurrent terminals.

Non-negotiables

Mandatory engineering rules

Power-loss-protected storage

Primary arrays run enterprise NVMe with onboard PLP — a power cut mid-write cannot corrupt the ledger.

ECC registered memory

Every host runs ECC RDIMM — silent bit-flips can't corrupt a database buffer pool.

Redundant power

Dual 1+1 hot-plug PSUs through an online double-conversion UPS — a failed feed is a non-event.

Hardware RAID only

Dedicated RAID controllers — no software RAID pretending to be redundant.

Native bare-metal WAMP runtime

Local Apache + PHP 8.x + MySQL stack tuned for bare metal — zero Docker/VM virtualization lag or execution speed throttling.

C-extension in-memory code encryption

Application files rest on disk as encrypted ciphertext and execute in RAM via a compiled C-extension loader — tamper-proof on disk, $0 decoder overhead.

WMI Motherboard-UUID hardware binding

Cryptographically locks the instance to the server's physical motherboard UUID (cached daily for 0ms runtime lag) — stolen drives cannot boot elsewhere.

NTFS icacls Read-Only code perimeter

Inno Setup NTFS icacls rules seal the code directory as Read-Only while keeping MySQL ledger writes and uploads at 100% NVMe speed.

The matrix

Four tiers, sized by real concurrency

01
Tier 1 — 10–30 terminals

Compact tower · high-clock Xeon/Core i7 · 32–64GB ECC · 2×1.92TB enterprise NVMe (PLP) RAID-1 · dual GbE

02
Tier 2 — 30–75 terminals

Tower · Xeon E-2488 · 64GB ECC RDIMM · enterprise NVMe w/ PLP on hardware RAID-1 · dual hot-plug PSUs

03
Tier 3 — 75–125 terminals

1U rack · Xeon Gold 5418Y / EPYC 9124 · 128GB ECC · 4×NVMe RAID-10 · redundant PSUs · dual 10GbE

04
Tier 4 — 125–200+ terminals

2U rack · dual EPYC / dual Xeon · 256GB ECC · 4–8× high-IOPS NVMe RAID-10 · quad 10GbE

Local intelligence

It also hosts the AI

The host runs the ERP mesh, the database engine and the local AI daemons — the assistant that reads your ledger lives on your premises, not on someone else's GPU.

Talk to the engineers — or run the numbers yourself.
